GUTS reading @ dixon theater w/Charity Coleman and Jess Arndt, curated by Dia Felix

Last night my "do i really have to be an astronomy nerd" friend and I decided to procrastinate further about our duties

Now Dia Felix is a person whose name has come up here and there and if you are a poet  you will know a lot more about her than I do, but just her demeanor the few times I have met her have made me want to know more about what she writes. I assume the time will come (unfortunately not at this weekend's Spring Thing @ Poetry Project, since I must instead heed the call of the mountains) sooner or later. In the meantime, I know the work of her friend, Ana Božičević

Who is a genius

Years later I am finally looking at this unpublished entry and publishinng it and adding this: I still think Ana is a genious
I wonder what she is up to now.
And wether she still has that amazing voice and intonation when she recites.

None of these will ever be published.

i have a sketch of the tattoo you described
- have you yourself a sketch?

& the inching closer to a cradle,
discovery mode unencumbered long
a twist in the waist revealing

disparate handshakes.
uneven. several springs

I wanted to actually write stories, but I can't do it. Where does a story come from? How do you construct a universe around a character? I mean how do you pick one and chill out? As casting a spell into poetry.
The word is still rank, it's still a little bit shaded at the edges. Who calls me what? when did you get there? No one funds this.
Everyone's shine

I have ridden my bike around the neighborhoods these days, through the neighborhoods, repairing flat tires, writing dedications, wanting a series of revelations
